Extension Of Contract

Lloyd Fraser Logistics has had their contract with Wickes extended by another 3 years.

(PRWEB) December 14, 2003 --Lloyd Fraser are pleased to announce that Wickes would like to extend our contract for a further three years. This is fantastic news and reflects the customer service approach that Lloyd Fraser have taken in recent years and is a positive reflection on all the efforts of the team. Wickes continued growth has put pressure on the existing Warehouse & Distribution network and the Wickes Board have taken the decision to move to a larger Warehouse at Hemel, in order to accommodate this growth.

The new Warehouse is just around the corner from the existing one and comprises 120,000 sq. ft with additional mezzanine space (currently Hemel has 50.000 sq. ft). The lease on the new site is in the process of being signed and it is hoped to be operational early to mid October 2003.

While there will be a complete transfer of team members at Hemel to the new site, the operations at Nether Heyford and Wakefield remain unaffected. The extension of the contract together with the responsibility for an enlarged Warehouse & Distribution network reflects the strong working partnership between Lloyd Fraser and Wickes and Lloyd Fraser is proud to be a part of the Wickes continued success.
