What Can Sales Reps Expect in 2004?

A number of reps offer their strategies for dealing with the challenges they expect to face in the year ahead.

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 14, 2003 --Reps say they are facing
a slate of challenges in the new year, including economic
conditions, industry consolidation, greater demands on their
time, more pressure on commissions, anxiety over commission
splits, cost-containment, and technology.

Considering that reps dont have much control over some of
these issues, one might think that they would be ready to settle in
and go along for the ride. But thats not the case according to the
results of the annual Looking Ahead" survey conducted by the
Sales Reps Advisor" newsletter.

Overall, says editor Bill Keenan, most reps feel that 2004 will
show some improvement over 2003. And more importantly,
virtually all reps seem willing to commit significant effort to
achieving even slight gains.

A number of reps offer their strategies for dealing with the
challenges they expect to face in the year ahead in the survey
report, which appears in the January 2004 issue of Sales Reps
Advisor." The survey report is available online at
