WiredNYC.com to empower the freelance workforce of New York. More than simple freelance, Wired NYC offers personal assistants, personal organizers, IT consultants, 24 hour computer support, deliveries and much more.
Wired NYC is set to pre-launch on December 15th, 2003 to independent professionals with their grand opening launch on January 1st, 2004. WiredNYC.com was created by Room 247 (www.room247.com) to provide do-it-your-self project management for on-call staffing, freelance and home and business services.
(PRWEB/ROOM247) December 13, 2003--Wired NYC, a service that connects service providers with service buyers who are looking for both value and quality, will open for business January 1st, 2004. Similar to an auction, service projects are posted and interested or available service providers bid for the opportunity to provide service.
After signing up, service seekers/buyers open a project and provide all the details of the job they need done. Service providers will then be able to view the project and bid on it. This is similar to an auction, but there is no mandatory end date and service buyers choose the winning bid themselves. Once the service buyer has chosen a service provider they will contact the service buyer to start on the project.
There is no signup fee and no monthly fee, but service buyers are required to give Wired NYC a commission on each completed project. If service buyers don't select to use any of the service providers, there is no commission charged.
No matter what you need in the service world Wired NYC provides it all through a 24 hour available network. From graphic design, programming, database design, application and software to writers, editors, marketing, accounting, administrative, legal, multimedia, home and personal services.
Wired NYC is privately owned and managed by Room 24/7 Managed Services (room247.com).
