Women's Tackle Football Wisconsin Riveters

(PRWEB) December 16, 2003 --The Wisconsin Riveters is a Womens Tackle Football team for the state of Wisconsin. The 2002 season was the Riveters Inaugural season into the WPFL. However this year the Wisconsin Riveters have joined with the National Womens Football Association (NWFA). The NWFA has 37 teams for the 2004 season; two National sponsors and a Five-year broadcasting deal with the Football Network.
The 2002 year brought us a proclamation from the Mayor, a Certificate of Commendation from the Governor of Wisconsin, the General Manager received a person of the year award, our average attendance ranged from 700-1200 per home game and the Riveters won there National Conference Title giving them the opportunity to go to the Championship Game in Dallas, Tx.
The Wisconsin Riveters are proud to announce the signing of 47 sponsors for the 2004 season. The following are some of the proud sponsors for the Wisconsin Riveters. Milwaukee Admirals, Dairy Queen, USBank, Associated Bank, Bear Reality Inc., Extreme Country 104.7 and Boelter + Lincoln which is an Advertising Firm that also has public relations, sales promotion, direct marketing and interactive as well as media advertising. Today, Boelter + Lincoln has grown too more than 40 people with billings exceeding $28 million, annually. The Wisconsin Riveters also received a 1972 Corvette Stingray as part of a sponsorship package.
As the week goes by for the Riveters so do the sponsors lining up to become a part of history and support Women's football. Holly Barrett the owner states, "It is great to see the support the state of Wisconsin is giving us. The businesses in this area have become a part of history by becoming proud sponsors of the Wisconsin Riveters. We have already broken our record of sponsors from last year and we just started! We want to thank all of our sponsors for supporting the Wisconsin Riveters, the Women's Tackle football team for the state of Wisconsin." The Riveters are to play all four home games at Horlick field in Racine. With the possibility to play to scrimmages at Shoreland High School in Somers.
The Riveters also participated in community events for the Milwaukee area and its surrounding areas, Racine, Kenosha, Union Grove, Twin Lakes, Madison, Somers and Random Lake. The Riveters also Donated to Charities and worked with High Schools for special events.

Milwaukee Admirals team up with the Riveters
The Wisconsin Riveters are pleased to announce that the Milwaukee Admirals Hockey Team in Milwaukee, WI has teamed up with the Riveters. The Milwaukee Admirals belong to the AHL Hockey League and are the farm club to the
Nashville Predators of the NHL.
Join the Riveters and the Admirals for a Riveters night on January 10th, 2004. The Wisconsin Riveters players will be doing the Puck Drop, Riding the Zamboni and one of the players will be announced as the 7th Admiral. The Riveters will also be signing autographs and taking orders for the 2004 season tickets.

The Wisconsin Riveters are please to announce an auto car show at every home game. It is going to be limited to only 45 cars. A 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophy will be awarded at all four home games. All entries are good for all four-auto car shows and any car can win more than once. The fans chose who the winner is and will be announced at half time along with the trophy presentation. The participants that enter the car show will receive two tickets per home game for the regular season. Ticket value is worth $80.00 dollars. Playoffs and championship games are an additional cost. The participant's entry fee is either a half-page photo of the vehicle or a full-page photo in a special auto car show section in the program. The half page cost $100.00 dollars and the full page costs $200.00 dollars. Entries must be received by January 10th of 2004.
