Using ClearBox RADIUS server, a standard, interoperable way to secure networks against unauthorized access, enterprises and service providers can store and manage security information at a single host. The server authenticates users against Windows NT/2000 groups and domains, as well as all of the existing OLE DB and ODBC data sources. Furthermore, the server can act as an advanced RADIUS proxy, since it can forward requests to remote servers.
Flexible accounting implementation allows combining of various billing and reporting options, logging accounting data to a database or to a log file, and forwarding to another RADIUS server.
ClearBox uses state servers to track network equipment load and to limit the number of simultaneous logons. These and many other capabilities make the product a strong competitor on the networks security market.
