Next Round of Spanish Classes at the Latin American Association Begins in Early January 2003

(PRWEB) December 17, 2003 --The next session of Spanish classes offered by the Latin American Association (LAA) will begin in early January 2004. Classes will be held at the LAA offices located at 2750 Buford Highway in Atlanta. Classes meet two nights a week from 6:30-8:45pm and each session lasts 5 weeks. Beginning, intermediate and advanced levels are available.
The Latin American Association is committed to helping students become fluent users of Spanish including reading, writing, speaking and listening. Classes are interactive and communicative in design. Class sizes range from small to moderate, and the organization works to create a learner-centered environment in which there is a focus on interaction in groups or pairs.
Classes are offered by LAAs Department of Education and Language Services. Additional services include: quality translation & interpretation services, private tutoring in English and Spanish, and customized Spanish and English classes for companies, government, and non-profit organizations.
The Latin American Associations mission is to provide transitional services and developmental programs to the Latino community, foster awareness about contributions of Latinos, and promote solutions that benefit the larger society. Service areas of the LAA include family services, immigration assistance, employment assistance, youth mentoring, and education and language services.
