Franklin, TN (PRWEB) December 17, 2003 --Herb Lewis, Owner of Tennessee Building Inspection LLC has successfully completed training and passed testing to earn certification for radon testing and mitigation. This training through the Auburn College of Engineering followed by certification through (NEHA) the National Environmental Health Association allows Herb to perform radon testing. He uses a highly accurate device the continuous monitor which records radon levels every hour during the testing period.
A report is generated at the testing site at the end of the test. The continuous monitor is an advanced electronic device that is more accurate than the commonly used charcoal canisters and the electric ion chamber, both which require at least two devices to be placed for testing versus one continuous monitor. The continuous monitor has built in tamper-resistant features and provides the client with a readout and graph of the radon levels measured during the test. Radon has been found to pose a serious health risk. Tennessee Building Inspection, is a full service, professional home inspection serving the Nashville region and surrounding counties.
