Event Raises Funds For L.A. Theatrical Productions, Collects Gifts For Olive Crest Charity Which Provides Homes And Services For Abused Children Throughout Southern California

WHAT: Lolas Closet," a holiday benefit featuring a fashion play", live music, and dancing, is slated for Thursday evening, Dec. 18, to raise funds for upcoming L.A. theatrical productions by Dollface & Company, and to collect holiday gifts for Olive Crest, a nonprofit organization that provides homes and services for abused kids throughout Southern California.
WHO: Presented by Los Angeles all-female production company, Dollface & Company, the event will showcase fashions from L.A.-based designers such as Classy Bride, Eva Franco, Flopi, Good Goddess, Guapo Wear, Happy Campers, Lojic Gear, Minawear, Stop Staring!, Undiemoon, and others. Live entertainment will include local bands The Animators and The Weeblows, Broadway singer Douglas Ladnier, and a debut performance of Dollfaces Satin Dolls -- an all-female flirtatious troupe that will perform Lolas Closet", a fashion play", on the catwalk with a series of ballet, cabaret, hip-hop, and modern dance numbers. Lolas Closet" is centered around the main character, Lola, and her upcoming wedding. Celebrity guests who have RSVPd to attend include actress Kiki Melendez (other celebrities have been invited but haven't yet RSVP'd).
WHERE: Club Monte Cristo, 659 S. Westmoreland, L.A., 90005 (just S. of Wilshire Bl. in Downtown L.A., adjacent to the landmark Bullocks Wilshire building); valet parking costs $5 (parking lot is on the right before Westmoreland dead ends).
