(PRWEB) December 19, 2003 --The long and highly anticipated release of Who's Who in Black Atlanta - The 2004 Edition" was officially unveiled December 16 during a VIP reception held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Mayor Shirley Franklin and a host of other A-list Atlanta residents spanning all genres of influence from music, to sports, to politics, to business, to media were present at the swanky affair. The event was hosted by media personalities Karen Greer (NBC affiliate 11 Alive) and Magic Man (V103 FM).
Whos Who in Black Atlanta is an annual glossy coffee table quality publication that features biographical data on the achievements of African-American men and women who have made their mark in their careers and professions in the metro area.
This years edition features a nine page Special Tribute to Maynard H. Jackson, Jr" Atlantas first African-African Mayor; and one of Atlantas greatest leaders. Additionally, the Foreword to this years publication is written by Thomas W. Dortch, Jr., chairman of the National Board of Directors for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc.
