Sandman Records Gives Hope" and Lullabies

Children's music label, Sandman Records has teamed up with Fertile Hope, a non-profit organization partnered with the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Fertile Hopes mission is to provide reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.

(PRWEB) December 20, 2003 --Sandman Records, widely-known for its parent-friendly "Dream With Me Tonight" lullaby CDs, has teamed up with Fertile Hope, a non-profit organization partnered with the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Fertile Hopes mission is to provide reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.

Sandman Records donated 400 copies of its 6-time award-winning CD, "Dream With Me Tonight, Vol. 2 -- A Fathers Lullabies" to Fertile Hopes Sweet November" fundraising reception in NYC. The event featured Scott Hamilton, (US Skating Champion and cancer survivor) and Evan Handler ("Sex and the City" actor and cancer survivor).

Fertile Hope was founded by Lindsay Nohr as the result of her potentially sterilizing cancer treatments. Unable to find much information or experts in the field, she created Fertile Hope to provide cancer patients with programs of awareness, education, financial assistance, research and support. Sandman Records has released two lullaby CDs which have garnered a combined 13 childrens music awards. "Dream With Me Tonight -- Lullabies For All Ages" was released 1/15/01. A portion of the proceeds from that CD benefits the Spina Bifida Association of America (www.sbaa.org).
