Ray Blazier Named Senior Vice President

Herndon, VA (PRWEB) December 21, 2003 --Ray Blazier is joining OpticalBand as Senior Vice President, Federal Systems after 25 years of distinguished service with the Federal Government at the United States Department of Agriculture. While in Federal service, he held many policy leadership positions, including Staff Assistant to the Secretary of Agriculture, Assistant to the Administrator of the Rural Electric Administration, Chief of Planning and Policy of the Farmers Home Administration, Director of the Management Services Division of the Rural Housing Service, and Supervisory Economist on the USDA Service Center Implementation Team. The major emphasis of his career has been in supplying economic expertise in information technology planning, procurement, and policy. Ray was instrumental in upgrading on a national level the information technology tools available to USDA employees. We believe Ray's impressive experience will enable him to build a robust IP, Data and Voice company and to continue its rapid progress into the future.
