Tombstone's Film Festival Returns
The Tombstone Western Film and Book Exposition scheduled for July 1, 2, 3 and 4th 2004 is now a reality.
(PRWEB) December 22, 2003 --After a one-year absence from the streets of Tombstone, and a shift to Willcox in 2003, the highly successful and award winning Tombstone Western Film Festival and Symposium (2001 & 2002) has returned in a new format. Combining western film stars and celebrities with the famous authors and scholars of western lawman and outlaw books, novels, periodicals, magazines and museums of the genre is the new events presentation.
In association with the Arizona Western Heritage Foundation, a 501©3 non profit group based in Tombstone Arizona, and Talei Publishing of Honolulu Hawaii, a publisher of historical western writings, a combined effort will present book signings, panel discussions, autograph sessions, receptions, and music all in the 'Town Too Tough to Die.
Scheduled at press time are Buck Taylor, Robert Fuller, Alex Cord, Gregg Palmer, Martin Kove, Dirk London, Jan Shepard, Dick Jones and William Smith. With the recent release of Clint Walkers new book, 'Yaqui Gold he is considering a return to Tombstone to promote his new novel. Also, Dirk London is rushing his long awaited 'The life of Wyatt Earp in verse to the Talei printers for release at the July event. Film star Powers Booth of 'Tombstone the Movie & Curly Bill fame is also a potential guest.
Scholars and authors, many of whom are frequent faces on the History Channel, are already on the slate.
