Ex pop star maker heralds Michelle's win!

The public have voiced their opinion - TALENT over body shape!

Ross believes that the music industry in the UK has been poorly received worldwide in recent years due to our trend of "bubblegum pop" and "pretty faces that can't sing".

Ross said today from his Devon home "The public this year have supported TRUE TALENT over ideal body shape and looks, and at last we may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. And credit where its due to Mr Cowell, he has supported Michelle McManus."

"Singers in the past such as Meat Loaf and Alison Moyet, have had worldwide success through the quality of their vocal talents and material, and when the UK record industry wakes up t this, maybe we'll get some REAL exportable talent for a change!" Ross added
