(PRWEB) December 24, 2003 --Site Journal for Windows, the construction site diary that has proven its worth for years in Germany is now available for a limited time (until March 2004) as a freeware version in English.
This software is used by architects, site supervisors and contractors for convenient documentation and site report management.
All important processes on the building site are documented and processed fast using this easy-to-read program. This includes data about the weather, attending contractors and their day's workloads, level of performance, deficiencies, hindrances, instructions, additional jobs, material deliveries, releases of drawings, etc.
Site photos the site supervisor has taken with the DigiCam can be added to the site journal and the respective daily report, and printed. You can differentiate between photos documenting the level of performance and photos documenting deficiencies. The program supports all common picture file types. You can define separately for each daily site report whether to print photos or not.
Access to data of up to 38 companies at each point of the site journal makes work easier and saves a lot of time.
The freeware version is restricted regarding the number of companies but otherwise has the same functionality that the full version has.
