MAUI SURFER GIRLS ANNOUNCES SWELLWOMEN AS NEW SISTER COMPANY

SwellWomen, owned my Me-Shell Barnas, is the first and only surf and yoga experience in Maui for women ages 18 and over. Designed for women who follow their bliss, SwellWomen is an all inclusive seven-night/eight -day 'experience incorporating both surf instruction and wellness/ rejuvenation on the magical island of Maui.

This will be a wonderful transition for our Maui Surfer Girls and other women who want to have an overnight surfing experience in Maui. Me-Shell Barnas has been practicing yoga for over ten years and teaching as a registered yoga teacher for just over a year. She was involved in the snowboarding industry for eight years and was a professional snowboarder for six years.

After her snowboarding career, she taught school in Redondo Beach and fell in love with the sport of surfing. Although she enjoyed the beach, she decided to take a job in the music industry in NYC and spent the last few years in marketing and sales. A call back to nature brought her to the beautiful island of Maui where SwellWomen was born.

SwellWomen experiences are scheduled for April 25-May 2nd, 2004 and May 2nd-May 9th, 2004 with accommodations located on the number one beach in the nation Kaanapli Beach in Maui.
