For LOTR, Planet Report distributed bookmarks and newsposters featuring LOTR to an audience of 27 million students during the 2 week run up to the filmÂs release. This was the third year in a row that Newline worked with Planet Report to develop a Lord of The Rings in-school program for AmericaÂs schools.

The posters, which are a displayed prominently in the schools, feature a mix of national, international, sci-tech, and cultural news itemsÂeverything from the War on Terror and the new WTC design to Britney Spears and Lord of the Rings. Providing educational as well as entertainment items to the schools has proved to be a win win for the Planet Report and their clients. Schools appreciate that advertisers are helping contribute to their studentsÂ education while also providing pop-culture ads that excite the kids.
