(PRWEB) December 25, 2003 --PC Friend, Yorkshires newest chain of PC supplies and accessories stores has clinched a deal to bring the latest PC products to its outlets from local suppliers.

Media coverage on PC Friends recent store launch in Wakefield prompted the link-up between Bradford-based ISA Retail Services and PC Friend and a lucrative deal was signed by the MDs this week.

The agreement sees ISA supply original inks from HP, Epson, Lexmark and Canon, as well as photographic paper from Kodak, as the digital camera craze takes off. In time for the Christmas gift market, it also includes a wide range of accessories to make the PC an integral part of the home, rather than something tucked away in a bureau.

Martin Carter, Managing Director of PC Friend, explains: Were now stocking a new range of keyboards, mice and surround sound systems which are proving popular as customers seek to upgrade their current PC systems with the latest designer gadgets.

Were delighted that ISA has also put us in touch with Logitech, a company that's offering PC Friend an exclusive arrangement to stock its Mx700 cordless optical mouse for Christmas. Were pleased that weve managed to secure such a wide range of goods from a local supplier, which reduces our costs and allows the goods to be offered at really competitive prices.

ISA already has supplier deals with local businesses such as Morrisons and national outlets including Sainsburys, Tesco and Makro. Andy Evison, Business Manager at ISA Retail Services, said: We see PC Friend as a niche in the market which is totally different to the other outlets we work with.

It provides computer accessories with a friendly spin, encouraging customers to ask questions and get more out of their home computers. It also offers great deals to people in Yorkshire, which ultimately means that we sell more goods - its a win win situation all around."

PC Friend currently has stores in Leeds City Centre and Wakefield, with new branches due to open in Headingley and Sheffield in the near future.
