RF POWER EXCHANGE ACQUIRES WEST HIGHLAND SEMICONDUCTOR

Talks about acquisition of inventory and data base of key RF Power Semiconductor distributor in Europe. Main significance is that both customers of West Highland and RF Power Exchange are now able to purchase a wider variety of devices from stock.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL January 01, 2004 RF Power Exchange announces the acquisition of West Highland Semiconductor of Argyll, United Kingdom. West Highland Semiconductor is the largest distributor of Acrian RF Power Semiconductors in the world. Graham Henderson, founder and CEO, will continue on as consultant.

Graham is an RF Applications Engineer and had been instrumental in the success of Acrian foundry in the UK," said David Gilden, President of RF Power Exchange. We look forward to keeping him aboard and feel that the relationship will mutually benefit for both parties.

RF Power Exchange, in addition to its large inventory, has a vast cross-reference of all the major manufacturers part numbers. By combining in the marketplace, the customer base will have more solutions to their RF Power requirement according to Henderson.

Having my customers have access to a wide variety of Philips, Motorola, M/A-Com and ST-Micro devices is eagerly anticipated," said Henderson.

This acquisition represents the first of many international alliances RF Power Exchange are seeking to close in the next 12 months. Gilden says that acquiring the Acrian brand will help to expand the European customer base while strengthening existing customer relationships.
