Discover Happiness this Holiday Season

ORLANDO, FL -- Upon the eve of one of the happiest times of the year we celebrate the joy of friends and family brought together to celebrate the holidays. Witnessing happiness is not far away during these wonderful times, however, as the holidays come and go we can all continue to celebrate the happiness discovered by four college students who set out on a 10 day journey to seek out happiness during the production of a documentary film.

One Happy Movie" is the documentary film about happiness that started as a simple concept by University of Florida graduate, Aaron Mighty, who due to his own state of unhappiness in the summer of 2001 wondered what really makes people happy?" Two years later he set out to find exactly what it was that made every day people happy.

Mighty, along with three film students, traveled cross-country from Orlando, FL to New York City visiting 12 states, more than 45 towns and cities, interviewing almost 400 people in various small towns and cities stopping random people at businesses, churches, academic institutions, historical landmarks, and pedestrians along the street to ask them what makes you happy?"

The filmmakers met and interviewed a very diverse group of people, rich, poor, white, black, young and old. Some having stories of happiness to tell while others uncertain of what happiness really was. Collectively what they discovered would surely make anyone a true believer in happiness. From shocking responses such as xanax" to the customary family and friends" and then there was the most common answer which will amaze you, just like the movie, when you see it.

The documentary, which was filmed between August 18th and August 27th, is currently set to tour the nation throughout the months of January and February stopping in the following select cities: Miami, Gainesville, Atlanta, Knoxville, Abingdon, Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Raleigh, Tampa and Orlando.
