Since 1991, The Fritz Theatre has been a consistent contributor to the world of theatre, producing plays by writers whose voices might have been otherwise lost.

The Fritz Theatre is proud have produced Paula Vogel and Suzan Lori-Parks long before they won their respective Pulitzer Prizes.

Through the Fritz Blitz of New Plays by California Playwrights, nearly 100 playwrights have premiered their works.

The Fritz Blitz is not only an opportunity for playwrights to get their plays produced, but also for San Diegos pool of theatre professionals on the rise to share their talent and passion with San Diego audiences.

The Fritz Blitz is scheduled for production from Aug 5 -- 29, 2004 at the Lyceum Theatre, in Downtown San Diego.

The Fritz Blitz of New Plays by California Playwrights will play at the Lyceum Space Theatre, located at 79 Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego. Performances run Aug. 5 -- 29, 2004, at 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and 7pm on Sundays. Tickets are $16 general admission, $12 for students/seniors/military. A Fritz Blitz Pass, to see all of the plays is $45.
