Former Autodesk General Counsel Joins Judicial ADR
Sandra D. Marin, former Vice President and General Counsel of NASDAQ software company Autodesk, has joined Judicial ADR's specialist mediator panel. She pioneered the mediation of employment disputes at leading Silicon Valley technology companies, and is a recognized ADR expert in intellectual property, employment, technology, and commercial cases.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) December 30, 2003 --Sandra D. Marin, former Vice President and General Counsel of NASDAQ software company Autodesk, has joined Judicial ADR's specialist mediator panel serving the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ms. Marin is a recognized ADR expert focusing on intellectual property, employment, technology, and commercial cases. A full-time mediator since 1995, she has handled hundreds of disputes dealing with wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, ADA, wage and hour, retaliation, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark and copyright infringement, domain names, and licensing.
Ms. Marin pioneered the mediation of employment disputes at leading Silicon Valley technology companies. Prior to joining Autodesk, she served as Associate General Counsel at 3Com Corporation. Between 1984 and 1987, she served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Director of Human Resources at integrated circuit pioneer Cypress Semiconductor Corporation. She has also served as Associate Counsel of Apple Computer, Inc., and in the legal department of Intel Corporation. Ms. Marin brought employment mediation to 3Com, Apple, Autodesk, and Cypress.
As an educator, Ms. Marin has lectured on employment mediation at Hastings College of the Law and the University of San Francisco Law School. Chair of the ADR Section of the Marin County Bar Association, Ms. Marin is a member of the State Bar of California, and is a frequent Judge Pro-Tem for Marin County Superior Court.
