The Humitech System is living up to its promises at local emergency shelter.

After the installation of their Humitech Humidity Control Panels, a Dallas Foundation is praising the system that is producing results when it comes to feeding those in need.

February 6, 2003--(Dallas, Texas)—Ten months after having Humitechs Humidity Control System installed, the Dallas Life Foundation (DLF) is praising its name.
   The food, especially our vegetables, seem to stay fresher longer. The walk-in smells fresher than it ever has before and it feels cooler," Food Service Director, Lonnie E. Barnett said.    
   In May of 2002 Humitech installed complimentary panels in the Dallas Life Foundation's walk-in refrigerators.
The humidity control panels used in the DLF units contain a unique blend of 'sorbite', a 100% natural mineral, that has the ability to absorb and desorb humidity resulting in lowered refrigeration temperatures, increased food storage life, decreased odor transfer and decreased energy usage.
According to Barnett the system works well for the company. "A lot of the food that is donated to us is almost to its end. We need good walk-in refrigerators and it (Humitech Humidity Control System) seems to keep the food fresher longer. Food being the bottom line in terms of costs and operation of our ministry, it really helps us throughout the year."
The DLF is the largest emergency shelter facility in Dallas, offering shelter, food, counseling and clothing to 500 men, women and children in the metroplex.
