There's a new coach in town!

One of the fastest growing industries today is the coaching profession. No, this is not sports coaching although there are many parallels. Professional coaches typically work with their clients on a one-on-one basis to help their clients improve an area of their life. Most often, this occurs in the work or business area of a persons life although there are many coaches that also work on more personal and spiritual areas.

Theres a new coach in town!

Roselle, IL – February 11, 2003 – One of the fastest growing industries today is the coaching profession. No, this is not sports coaching although there are many parallels. Professional coaches typically work with their clients on a one-on-one basis to help their clients improve an area of their life. Most often, this occurs in the work or business area of a persons life although there are many coaches that also work on more personal and spiritual areas.

For many years personal coaches have been one of the best kept secrets of CEOs and executives throughout the country. More and more these client/coach relationships are going public and being written about in top business journals. The benefits of personal coaching is becoming more accepted and more and more people are looking to receive the same benefits that for years were only for the elite.

Typical coaching occurs when the coach meets with the client on a regular basis via telephone or in a mutually convenient location. The coach and client work as a team to develop, improve and advance the client. The coach provides a sounding board for ideas and an unbiased environment. Coaches are armed with a variety of tools and techniques in addition to their own experience to assist their clients. A coach/client relationship will last 6 months or longer. Many coaches have worked with the same client for several years.

Coach N Train, Ltd. has opened its doors to the public in Roselle, Illinois. However, even if Roselle is not convenient for you it might be worth your while to check it out anyway. Most coaching today is conducted over the telephone and by passing information back and forth via email.

Jim Vaughan, president and founder of Coach N Train, Ltd., spent 23 years working in the telecommunications industry continually developing his skills to lead others. About 5 years ago, Jim became aware of the field of coaching and took an interest. He actually worked with his own coach at the time to learn more about the field of coaching. He then started doing some informal coaching to see if coaching was something that he would really like to do on a regular basis.

When the telecommunications business started to slip Jim started to increase his attention on the coaching area. Even before his executive position was eliminated due to downsizing, Jim started developing his coaching business. Today Jim has again hired his own coach, a coach he has never personally met, to help him develop his coaching business. He also attends tele-classes through Coach U (see www.coachu.com) to further develop and hone his skills. Coach U also provides Jim with many tools that he can use to assist his clients.

Jim often compares himself to the Wizard of OZ. He is able to help others to see the skills and abilities that they have while removing their fears and inhibitions. Remember that OZ never did give anything to the tin man that he didnt already have." In the same way Jim is able to work with his clients regardless of their field in order to help them to see new ways to improve.

Many people are still not convinced that a personal coach would be a benefit to them. To help these people understand the benefits, many coaches, including Jim, will provide a free coaching session to anyone that they feel shows a serious interest to hire them as a coach. He also runs a scholarship program where clients with a high interest and high potential can receive additional free sessions. You can find our more on the Coach N Train, Ltd. web site.
