DUCHESS AND THE PAPER PLATE MUSEUM GOES WILD...
Brand new company donates paper plates to Florida animal shelter. Future business strategies covered.
On February 8, 2003 in a secluded and tropical setting by the canal of Victoria Park, Florida, a small but elite fundraiser will take place. 75 guests (including philanthropist and Board Member, Pam Huizinga) will be gathered together to help raise funds for Wildlife Care Centers baby animal adoption program. Featured for the menu to be on, is a limited edition paper plate designed by the Duchess herself. The plate is adorned with an image of the Florida Panther. Paper Plate is a sole proprietor with a penchant for local Florida history.
Paper Plate Museum is a fabulously new concept that has garnered interest in the realm of the otherwise staid and usual business fare. Officially up this year, Paper Plate is dedicated to the preservation of culture – the culture of food and its implements. Paper Plate prints limited editions in order to develop a niche market of high volume users. Each customer gets their own design. Restaurants, hotels, food service companies, and other large consumers qualify for substantial discounts on orders over 25,000.
Future Business Strategies. Paper Plate will house one plate from each edition in its collection, and display rotating designs in museum format on the internet site at http://www.paperplate.homestead.com A 2004 Afrikan calendar is being planned and will be announced the end of the fiscal year. An outdoor art exhibit is also in the works. Major credit cards will be accepted soon for purchasing convenience.
Duchess says I am very pleased to make the eating atmosphere as genuinely pleasant as possible. I make product that reaches the rich, and product that appeals to the rest of us. I want to help my customers give their patrons a novel and culturally correct dining experience without guilt, every day." Duchess also wants to let her potential customers know that Paper Plate is a brand new venture, and your input is always welcome. She hopes, in the future if demand occurs, that individual consumers might also be able to purchase these wild things from bulk quantity retail outlets.
