Maddocks Systems to Lead California Trucking Association Technology Council

Maddocks Systems Inc., the developers of TruckMate for Windows (TM4Win) enterprise-wide trucking software, are excited to be playing a key role in the recently formed California Trucking Association (CTA) Technology Council. Randall Burrell, Senior Vice President of Maddocks Systems Inc. has recently been selected as the chair of the Technology Council made up of CTA members.

Investing in technology is a serious commitment for every transportation fleet," explains Burrell. The technology council hopes to play a part in educating the CTA membership on the direction transportation technology is taking and to provide information that will improve the return on investment received by every CTA member."

The CTA Technology Council was formed to help association members evaluate trucking technology and make informed decisions about what solutions are best for their operations. Council members hope to be a source of information and an educational resource for the CTA membership to utilize on issues of transportation technology.

The California Trucking Association has a membership of over 2000 transportation companies including small family owned operations and some of the largest trucking fleets in North America. The CTA is also considered the largest state level association of trucking companies in the United States.
