NEW FANTASY BOOK FOR TEENS & ADULTS Woodbyrne: The Fallen Forest by James DArienzo, Jr.

New fantasy book for teens and adults who enjoyed Lord of the Rings is to be released this May. Woodbyrne: The Fallen Forest by James D'Arienzo weaves great battle scenes into a classic fantasy tale of good versus evil.

[Warwick, NY 2/19/03] — Moo Press, Inc., an independent book publisher located in Warwick, NY, announced the publication date of May 1, 2003 for the much anticipated fantasy novel, Woodbyrne: The Fallen Forest by James DArienzo, Jr. (ISBN 0-9724853-1-7).

Written over the course of several years while commuting back and forth to his financial job in New York City, Mr. James DArienzo, Jr. says that he wrote Woodbyrne with older teens in mind, but that adults who enjoy books by J. R. Tolkien and R. A. Salvatore will enjoy reading Woodbyrne too.

In Woodbyrne: The Fallen Forest, 20-year-old Prince Aaron defies his fathers wishes and enters the forbidden forest of Woodbyrne. He soon learns why the forest is forbidden and that his actions and choices have serious consequences. While in the forest, Prince Aaron rescues a young lady named Quinn who is being held captive by the evil demon Isidore. The rescue and escape lead to a friendship with the peaceful native elves. As the tale unfolds, readers learn with Aaron and Quinn the value of friendship, honor, truth and family. The Fallen Forest is the first of three books in the Woodbyrne trilogy.

Well written battle scenes, women in non-traditional roles (such as a female in charge of the army), blood, guts and gore are sure to please teens looking for an action-oriented book. Parents will appreciate the moral values the main characters uphold in the face of terror and evil. Woodbyrne provides parents and educators with a good way to get teens interested in reading a full length book. Classic fantasy fans will enjoy Woodbyrne as a traditional fantasy novel.

Moo Press books are distributed to the trade by Biblio Distributors (800-462-6420). Woodbyrne can be purchased at local bookstores, online and directly from the publisher. For more information (including a free press kit and book excerpt) please see the books website at www.Woodbyrne.net.
