Subcontract.com, the leading staffing exchange, which allows staffing vendors to market their candidates and utilize other staffing vendors, has boldly gone where no other online recruiting solution or staffing exchange has gone before. The companys management today adjusted it customer agreements to allow for a conditional money back guarantee on its annual subscriptions. Subscribers that have not placed at least one candidate through the service will be offered a refund upon completion of the subscription term. Company president, Michael Sparks cited that this was something many of our customers needed to tip their purchasing decision and our track record of placements makes it a comfortable decision". The company claims to have facilitated over 26,000 vendor to vendor candidate placements since going live in December of 2000.

The company does require that certain conditions be met: The customer requesting the refund can only do so at the end of the subscription term; The customer must have had at least five candidates or five job postings on their account throughout the course of the year; The dollar amount of the refund will be adjusted by 10% for accounting and company certification costs; The customer cannot have any unresolved grievances filed against it by another customer; Customers are eligible for a refund if they have not placed a candidate as either a buyer or supplier on the staffing exchange by the end of the subscription term; and Quarterly subscribers are excluded from the guarantee.
