Micro Laboratories Products Found to Reduce Withdrawls Symptoms During Quit Smoking Clinical Trials

Micro Laboratories, Inc, (OTCBB;MLAR) announced results of a study performed by Bruce Becker, MD, Beth Bock PhD, and Rosa Carmona-Barros MS. of The Centers for Behavorial and Preventive Medicine. The Miriam Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital and Brown Medical School. The study found that one of Micro Baboratories products help to reduce withdrawl symptoms durring quitting smoking clinic trials.
Dr. Becker will be presenting a paper entitled "ST. John's Wort Oral spray Reduces Withdrawl Symptoms During Quitting Smoking" on February 22 at the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tabacco's 9th annual Scientfic Session being held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel. (www.srnt.org)
The study tested the effect of St. John's Wort, a natural herbal preperation, on smoking withdrawl systems. St. John's Wort was delivered to the patient in a unique oral spray formulation which could be used muliple times per day by the subject, mirroring the subjects pattern of cigarette smoking. ST. John's Wort decreased subjects anxiety, sleepness, and restlessess during the first few days after quitting and their cravings for cigarettes and irritability throughout the 2 weeks study period.
