Web threatens Financial Times newspaper!

Accountants are abandoning the Financial Times and flocking to specialist accounting websites in search of Jobs.

In a poll of over 200 financial professionals, conducted on AccJobs.com, more than 30% stated that accounting jobsites are their main source of career information; almost four times the number using traditional favourite the Financial Times. The survey also revealed that the preferred choice for job seekers are the specialist Accounting Magazines with 45% of the vote.

"Specialist accounting websites offer a free, quick, confidential and convenient method of finding jobs.", said Stephen Jones, Managing Director. "Job seekers want to be able to search hundreds of jobs in seconds using specific words and phrases, not spend time searching through a handful of jobs in a newspaper, so the Web to will continue to gain market share over newspapers and magazines."
