Hard Shell Word Factory Announces New Senior Editor

Hard Shell Word Factory has named Janice Strand, a Tampa FL freelance editor and epublished author, as its new Senior Editor.

"Janice's experience, organizational skill, and dedication reflects the values of Hard Shell Word Factory," said owner Mary Z. Wolf. "We're happy to have her join our team."

Janice said, "I'm terribly tickled to take on the challenges of senior editor. I've been editing with Hard Shell for about a year now, and before that I edited for Wordbeams and Jabil Circuit. There are so many wonderful folks at Hard Shell and I'm incredibly psyched about my new role!"

Janice L. Strand has been writing and editing professionally since 1994. She has an Associate's degree in English and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Before coming to Hard Shell she was an associate editor for Wordbeams, and has also worked as a technical writer. Writing as Lynne Hansen, she is the author of the Heritage Of Horror series of young adult historical horror novels. Her adult thriller, LogOut is due to be released from Hard Shell in April. Janice is also the chairman for EPICon 2003, an international writer's conference sponsored by EPIC, the Electronically Published Internet Connection, starting March 6th in Tampa, Florida.
