Falcon International Adds European Repossession Services

Falcon International, America's largest independant automobile recovery firm, now offers recovery services throughout Western Europe.

Falcon International, one of the oldest repossession agencies in the United States, has now added repossession services in Europe to their list of services. "Its not unusual for a vehicle finances in the United States to wind up in Europe", says Falcon's J. Patrick Altes. "It's relatively easy to transport a liened vehicle overseas, while the customer is deployed in the military or working overseas for a large international corporation. The incentive to pay the creditor often diminishes due the distances involved".

Falcon has recently handled recovery accounts for US creditors in Italy, Iceland, England, Belgium and Germany. Given the residual value of late-model vehicles, this remains a cost effective process for the banks and credit unions who would otherwise write off these loans as uncollectable.
