BASF Corporation Selects EasyAsk to Simplify and Improve Access to Critical Business Information

LITTLETON, MASS. ,March 10, 2003 ,EasyAsk, a market leader in information access software, and the only provider of Synchronized Search and Navigation, announced today that BASF Corporation, the North American affiliate of BASF AG (NYSE: BF), has selected EasyAsk's technology to power a corporate portal to effectively enable employees to easily and quickly locate and retrieve business information and reports.

BASF chose EasyAsk to help achieve the vision of allowing employees to use natural-language queries to search for the information they need. BASF hopes to reduce the number of duplicate report requests submitted to business and central IT resources, while at the same time increasing employee efficiency by giving them immediate access to critical business intelligence, all from a search and navigation portal.
