fSONA Expands Into India Through Partnership with Netware and Bharti
SONAbeam Tested and Certified by Bharti in New Delhi Network
Vancouver, Canada – 12 March 2003 - fSONA Communications, producer of the award-winning SONAbeam optical wireless transmission equipment, today announced at the Convergence India 2003 conference in New Delhi, India the signing of a partnership agreement with Netware Technologies.
The SONAbeam family of products will now be available through Netware technologies, a technology and infrastructure solutions provider delivering leading edge critical hardware to service providers. Netware caters to the prime carriers in India, Europe, and Far/Middle eastern markets. Netwares first project was to deploy SONAbeams for the touchtel division of Bharti Enterprises.
Bharti has been a pioneering force in the telecom sector in India with many firsts and innovations to its credit, ranging from being the first mobile service in Delhi, first private basic telephone service provider in the country, first Indian company to provide comprehensive telecom services outside India in Seychelles and first private sector service provider to launch National Long Distance Services in India.
