New York, NY….Grandstand Entertainments debut artist, critically acclaimed actor and Emmy Nominee, Dominic Chianese who has gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Corrado Uncle Junior" Soprano on the cable-television series The Sopranos is set to release a new CD, UNGRATEFUL HEART", on May 20, 2003.

On this new CD Dominic explores his extraordinary aggressive vocal range while using his acoustic guitar as the CDs centerpiece. Dedicated to his Grandfather Dominico, this CD features 19 Italian intimate and familiar classics including Core ngrato" (Ungrateful Heart) the title track, which Dominic performed on the 3rd season finale of the Sopranos.

I grew up in New York City in the 30s and 40s. My strongest memory of my grandfather is when he sang these passionate songs out of the window facing the Hudson River from his third story apartment. I will never forget this vision". Also included on this ultimate romantic collection are Parla Piu Piano" (Speak Softly Love from The Godfather), O Sole Mio," the inspiration for Elvis Presleys Its Now or Never", and the sentimental Mama". Also, included are two English tracks Song a Napolitano" which was written by Dominic and Funiculi, Funicula".

Dominics professional acting career includes appearances on Broadway, in David Mamets Water Engine," Archibald MacLeslies Scratch", and The Rose Tatoo. His film credits include the classic Coppola film The Godfather, Part II where he plays Johnny Ola., Dog Day Afternoon", Q&A", Night Falls on Manhattan", And Justice for All, and All the Presidents Men". His television credits include appearances on Law & Order, Kojak", Dark Shadows and his current role as Uncle Junior on the Sopranos to name a few.
