Website Gives Away Free DVD's To Those With Disabilities
Moviesforfree.org gives away free DVD or VHS movies to people with disabilities and the terminally ill.
Dayton, OH – May 16, 2003 -- Moviesforfree.org cant cure people of their disabilities, however we can help those who are sick, forget about their troubles for a few hours by lifting up their spirits with a favorite comedy, action adventure or even an animated cartoon.
John Gale the founder of Moviesforfree.org was on disability and unable to work at his job for two years. House bound, he found solace in watching his favorite movies. "I was determined at that time to provide a small service to those who find themselves in similar situations."
Moviesforfree.org asks for donations of used or new DVDs and VHS cassettes of all genres from individuals, video stores, and businesses. People can find out how to donate by going to moviesforfree.orgs homepage. All donations are tax deductible.
People with disabilities are encouraged to fill out the online request form, which asks for their top 3 movie preferences. (Individuals must provide proof of their disability.)
Staffed entirely by volunteers Moviesforfree.org sends out the requested movie (in order of selected preference) as quickly as possible.
Monetary donations are needed for the shipping and handling costs involved in mailing the movies.
Persons with disabilities and individuals wishing to make a donation are encouraged to visit the website at www.moviesforfree.org
