Since Jane Sadowy President of www.Swaphandmedowns.com had designed the concept and published the site on August 4th 2001 it has made grand progress in the fashion world. A visitor and director of a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Womans Organization CMEA Ministries has offered Jane Sadowy a helping hand by offering free used fashion to her growing list of members. The organization is located in Central Philadelphia and provides donated clothing to the needy, women needing work fashion or families needing a helping hand. This is quite a large project since it involves helping Jane organize the shipping of free used fashions to the site members and children across the United States, Canada, Porta Rica and Chile. The clothing is scheduled to be shipped out to Swaphandmedowns members on a continued basis.

Members also swap clothing among each other at their Community board every day! So there is plenty of action going on at Swaphandmedowns this spring! Members of Swaphandmedowns are work at home moms, single moms, nurses, office workers, college grads, business owners, teachers and grandmothers. They are all saving money by recycling gently used clothing, books, recipes, shoes, cost saving tips and making friends with other parents!

Not only has Swaphandmedowns.com changed the way people are donating their used fashion globally but many visitors have signed up for their family newsletter since they feel the need to help others as well. Visitors and members are kept informed about families in need, spring-cleaning tips, organizing tips, and kept informed about parental issues.
