Film Fundraiser Brings Elvis Impersonator Robert Washington
CAMBRIDGE, MA—Somerville based Fish in the Hand Productions is hosting an Elvis Presley themed fundraiser, featuring legendary impersonator Robert Washington, to finish its latest film, The Faithful, on Saturday May 3, 2003 at 7:30 pm at the Greek-American Club in Central Square, Cambridge.
Annie Berman, director on The Faithful, summed up the event as A great chance to see award winning performer Robert Washington, as well as be immersed in all things Elvis. Well have memorabilia for sale in the silent auction, a full buffet of Elvis favorite foods, including peanut butter and banana sandwiches, and the chance to win a cameo appearance in the film during a karaoke contest."
Sara Theriault, The Faithfuls producer, is excited by the chance to help out the local art and film communities at the same time as partaking in some quality Elvis themed entertainment." A lifelong Elvis fan, Sara notes, I cant wait to be on stage and sing ‘All Shook Up. This is the kind of quirky event that cant help but be fun."
