The opening in Warsaw, Poland of a unique and special hotel that will become the must stay at hotel in the city

This May will see the opening of The Hotel Rialto, Warsaws first boutique hotel. Privately owned and operated and comprising of 45 guest rooms and suites, the hotel will offer the highest standards of amenities and services to both the leisure and business traveller. Occupying a beautiful and fully restored building from the turn of the century and Art Deco in its interior theme and design, all rooms and public areas have been individually and uniquely designed with original art and furniture of the period. John Quero. General Manager. The Hotel Rialto
A native of London, England, John has extensive experience in the hotel and hospitality industry having started his career in 1980 at the Carlton Tower Hotel in London. After periods at The Royal Lancaster, Washington and Crowne Plaza Hotels in London, his career took him overseas to Dubai, South Africa, America, Australia and Italy.

John has worked at some of the worlds most prestigious hotels, including the Palace Hotel at Sun City, South Africa and the Burj Al Arab, Dubai. John arrived in Warsaw from the exclusive Amanresorts chain where he was Resident and General Manager of Hotel Bora Bora in French Polynesia.

Kurt Scheller. Executive Chef. The Hotel Rialto
Renowned Swiss chef and long term resident of Warsaw, Kurt will be overseeing the Food and Beverage operations of the hotel, which will include a restaurant and bar, banqueting and private dining and cigar room. Kurts impressive career has taken him around the world, from Amsterdam and Cairo with Hilton Hotels, to the Intercontinental in Jamaica, the SAS Hotel Kuwait, the Olympic Penta in Moscow and finally to Warsaw where Kurt has been Executive Chef at both the Bristol and Sheraton Hotels. A founding member of the Association of Polish Chefs, this past July saw the opening in Warsaw of the Kurt Scheller Culinary Academy.
