Partners in Paradise – Paradise City Arts Festivals and Rena Rowan Breast Center Join Forces to Fight Breast Cancer

King of Prussia, PA -- April 2, 2003 -- A silent auction of museum quality craft and fine art will take place April 4-6 during the Paradise City Arts Festival at the Valley Forge Convention Center. Each day will feature different pieces generously donated by exhibiting artists, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Rena Rowan Breast Center at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania (RRBC).

Paradise City Arts Festivals (PCAF) is an award winning producer of shows featuring both fine and functional art. Since the inception of its silent art auctions in 1996, PCAF has raised over $100,000 for worthy causes, including VNA Hospice and Faulkner Hospital in Boston. Art is life-affirming. It soothes the soul and lifts the spirit. We are proud to inaugurate our presence in Pennsylvania with support for RRBC," explains Linda Post, co-founder and director of PCAF.

About the Rena Rowan Breast Center
Rena Rowan Damone, internationally recognized fashion designer and businesswoman, established the RRBC in 2000. The center assembles the nations leading breast cancer specialists in one location. The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania is one of a select group of Cancer Centers in the U.S. identified by the National Cancer Institute as a comprehensive Cancer Center.

We are so pleased that PCAF has joined us in our commitment to overall breast health for all women," said Kevin Fox, M.D., medical director of RRBC. As the beneficiary of the events silent auction, RRBC will continue its leadership position and meet the needs of our breast cancer patients including comfort, privacy and convenience during what can be a difficult time for them."

Auction and Event Details
PCAF attendees may bid on a wide variety of original works displayed at the silent auction tables April 4-6. Redefining the Concept of Craft Shows Since 1995
