PREMIER CHEF RETURNS TO ATLANTA WITH NEW CATERING COMPANY, SOIREE

ATLANTA (PRWEB) April 2, 2003 -- Mary Hataway, former owner/chef at The Patio by the River (now Canoe), has returned to the Atlanta culinary scene to join new partner Erin Kelly in Soiree, a full-service catering and event company. Soiree plans to focus on catering a variety of social and corporate events, tailoring unique menus to fit the style and taste of every client.
Marys lifelong experience and knowledge of the Atlanta market will be invaluable assets for the launch of Soiree", said Erin Kelly, Soiree co-founder. "Mary shares my vision- using style and flair to make every catered event distinctive and unusual."
Prior to co-founding Soiree, Mary Hataway owned Patio By the River on the Chattahoochee River for twenty years. Mary has been honored by Vogue, Bon Appetit, Gourmet and Wine Spectator as one of America's top female chefs and has had numerous appearances on ABC's Good Morning America. Mary has catered events for luminaries such as Julia Child and the Emperor of Japan, Akihito.
Soiree co-founder Erin Kelly has worked in the marketing and special events industry for the past six years. She began her culinary career in Aspen, Colorado, working with top California chef Michael Chirello, owner of AJAX Tavern and creator of the Consorzio line of cooking oils. Erin moved on to assist chef Sean Crowley with his catering and gourmet services in Aspen. Her management experience includes gala events for Food & Wine Magazine Classic at Aspen.
Soiree clients include clothing retailers Fabrik and The Fickle Manor, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, The National Education Association and the Peachtree Social Club.
