Components Bureau appointed Nec Tokin distributors of electronic devices.
Components Bureau, the Cambridgeshire-based passive components and specialist capacitor distribution company, has announced it is appointed as franchised distributor for NEC Tokin. The deal means that Components Bureau will stock NEC Tokin's Supercaps and chip tantalum capacitors. In addition, the Company will have access to the full range of products, including EMC suppression products, chokes, inductors and lithium ion batteries etc.
"At Components Bureau we're always looking to broaden our product range to offer a better selection of solutions to our customers." Said Andrew Ferrier, Components Bureau's Commercial Manager. "The NEC Tokin brand is well known and the product technology and range is leading edge and high quality so I am delighted we have been able to secure this agreement."
David Hussey, NEC Tokin's UK Marketing Manager, said: "The long association of Components Bureau and the former Tokin company goes back over ten years and it was time to forge the association with the new NEC Tokin. I'm very pleased to continue our working relationship with Components Bureau and their team." The Tokin Corporation was integrated with NEC's Tantalum capacitor and Battery business's to become NEC Tokin Corporation in 2002.
