Market Scan Information Systems Names Bruce A. Zeedik Chief Financial Officer

New CFO to focus on infrastructure and processes for next stage of growth

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., April 11, 2003 - Market Scan Information Systems, the source of Profitcenter, the one solution automobile retailers utilize to automate their sales and financial transactions, today announced the appointment of Bruce A. Zeedik to the new position of CFO. Mr. Zeedik will be responsible for the financial operations of the company and will focus on expanding and enhancing the companys fiscal infrastructure and processes as it moves into a new phase of growth.

Mr. Zeedik has earned a reputation for excellence in aligning internal financial processes and infrastructure with aggressive growth plans in the technology, consumer, healthcare and B2B markets. Prior to Market Scan, he worked as CFO for Staub Metals Corporation where he designed and implemented new business processes, negotiated financing options, and automated accounting, finance, and human resource functions.

As vice president and corporate controller for Merisel, Inc., Mr. Zeedik re-engineered the companys corporate accounting and financial systems. Prior to that he served as vice president, finance, for JBL Professional where he was responsible for all finance, accounting and MIS functions.
