STANCIL & SYNERGON ANNOUNCE MANUFACTURING DEAL
Long Standing Relationship Strengthened With U.S. And Latin America Manufacturing Agreement
Melbourne, Florida and Santa Ana, CA <04/07/03>, Stancil Corporation, the leader in logging recorder systems for over 50 years and developer of the TEN-4 Digital Logging Recorder System—the worlds first digital recorder based on the Microsoft .NET Framework and Synergon Solutions, the manufacturer and Service and Support Center for the TEN-4 Recording System, today announced a definitive agreement between the two companies giving Synergon Solutions full accountability for the manufacturing of the TEN-4 system for the global marketplace.
Michael Custer, CEO of Stancil Corporation, Synergon and Stancil have been working together since the early 90s when Synergon became the Service and Support Center for our family of voice recording products. Late last year, the two companies agreed to make Synergon the exclusive manufacturing, distribution and sales center for the TEN-4 Recorder for the Eastern half of the United States as well as the Latin American markets. This new manufacturing agreement gives them full responsibility for the entire product. Stancil will now be able to focus most of its energy toward software development—guaranteeing the TEN-4 will remain the premier logging recorder well into the future" Custer added, The issues surrounding homeland security and international public safety have brought products like the TEN-4 to the center of attention. This ‘attention has created a global demand for our state-of-the-art, secure digital logging recorder system that even we did not anticipate."
Synergon Solutions manufactures the TEN-4 Digital Logging Recorder from their testing and manufacturing facilities in Melbourne, Florida. All additional manufacturing responsibilities brought on by this new agreement will also be handled from their Florida headquarters. The TEN-4 will continue to be marketed and sold jointly through Synergon (Eastern half of the U.S. and Latin America) and Stancil (Western half of the U.S. and remaining international markets).
Gary Bradley, Synergons President & CEO, stated, Supporting Stancils mission critical recorders since the early 90s has given us a strong insight into the industry. We have been able to take customer suggestions and build upon Stancils Logging Recorder System to make it the most technologically advanced recording product on the market today. This agreement really has been many years in the making."
Dale Mallow, Synergons VP and COO added, We are fortunate to be in an industry that is growing due to unfortunate circumstances. We anticipate adding another 50+ employees in the future to help ensure supply meets demand. With many companies now cutting muscle in a last ditch attempt to stay afloat in this economy, we have an outstanding opportunity to pick up quality individuals.
The agreement between Stancil Corporation and Synergon Solutions coincides with a recent award to supply the Sheriffs office in King County, Washington with the TEN-4 Digital Logging Recorder System. King County, Washington, the 12th most populous county in the nation, will be installing a 288 channel (two redundant 144 channel systems), RAID level 5 TEN-4 recording system for the public safety 911 telephone and radio recording needs of the Sheriffs office.
