Fiorano accelerates Enterprise Real Time Enablement - Releases Tifosi 2002 ESB, Enterprise Service Bus, a standards based business integration solution

Fiorano Software, Inc. announced the release of Tifosi 2002 ESB (TESB), Enterprise Service Bus, a standards-based solution for event based distributed computing. This extends Fioranos Integration middleware product offerings to make it the Industrys first provider of a complete Integration Infrastructure Stack. Fiorano is already shipping Tifosi 2002 Enterprise Integrator (TEI), an enterprise class, comprehensive integration broker suite.

LOS GATOS, CA April 9, 2003 - Fiorano Software, Inc. today announced the release of Tifosi 2002 ESB (TESB), Enterprise Service Bus, a standards-based solution for event based distributed computing. Fiorano is already shipping Tifosi 2002 Enterprise Integrator (TEI), an enterprise class, comprehensive integration broker suite.

Tifosi 2002 ESB was introduced in response to customer demand for a mid-tier integration solution that slashes costs of not only software, but also related services, reduces deployment time and is completely interoperable, having no proprietary dependencies." says Atul Saini, CEO, Fiorano Software Inc.

An ESB can be a sensible first step toward a systematic Enterprise Nervous System," explains Roy Schulte, VP and Research fellow of Gartner Research, because it provides the basic connectivity backbone. It can interoperate with a variety of disparate application servers, simultaneously smoothing over technical differences and also providing services for communication and integration." An ESB avoids a spaghetti of company application interconnections because existing applications, services and other data sources need only to plug into the bus to communicate.

Analysts see this approach as a potential threat to traditional EAI companies through its low cost and flexibility. It is also a threat to application server vendors, partly because an application server's hub-and-spoke architecture is a bottleneck for high data volumes and a single point of failure.

"Tifosi 2002 extends Fiorano's growing popularity in the integration infrastructure market," says Atul Saini, CEO, Fiorano Software. "Tifosi provides enterprise architects with a flexible, highly scalable, and cost effective solution for integration across heterogeneous platforms. It also offers a single cohesive platform for EAI, B2B Integration, BPM, collaboration and even network management requirements of a company, which were traditionally served by distinct solutions" he adds.

Built on a fully distributed, event driven architecture, Tifosi sets a new paradigm in Interoperability,

Scalability, Performance and ROI. Tifosi also provides comprehensive security and is designed to easily integrate with a Companys security models and extends flexible support for all major application platforms. Tifosi supports J2EE, .NET, Web Services and Legacy technologies. With support for SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and XML, Tifosi ESB can be particularly powerful in implementing Web Services projects too.

Although implemented on top of FioranoMQ, the world fastest and most scalable JMS Server, Tifosi can leverage existing middleware investments such as IBM Websphere MQ or any of the other JMS servers on the market.

The compelling business advantage of TESB is, that as an organization grows in size and complexity, it can cost effectively upgrade to TEI, adding features such as Business Process Management, BAM, Version Control and Configuration Management plus access to over 100+ off the shelf Adapters. Enterprises can completely avoid the technical complexity, monolithic architecture and hefty price tags of traditional EAI vendors.
