Fair Lawn Rescue Website Gets Facelift

Fair Lawn, NJ –Fair Lawn Rescue, (a volunteer emergency response team), announced today a new look for its website (http://www.fairlawnheavyrescue.com). The website, originally launched in 1999, served its purpose, but was thought to be slow and difficult to navigate.

The new site sports a brighter look and graphically follows the same theme as the striping on its response vehicles. New sections with easier navigation support the new look. Included in the redesign is a members roster highlighted by links to individual members pages. The members page includes a brief bio and picture. Rounding out the makeover are sections for training, pictures and the new youth squad.

Its new Webmaster, Jim DeLillo, a volunteer member, has spearheaded the effort. Jim is also supported by the website committee comprised of Russ Hauptman, the original Webmaster (1999-2002), Mike Rosenberg, John Fladung and Jim Magarelli.

Concurrent with the redesign, the site is registered as http://www.fairlawnrescue.com to make it easier to remember and easier to type in the address bar.

"We believe that this new design represents a tremendous advantage for Fair Lawn Rescue by extending our reach to the residents who are eager to learn about the squad and its role in the safety of our community." said James Van Kruiningen Jr., Chief of Fair Lawn Rescue.
