Beatware Releases Sophisticated Web Graphics Application for Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002

Beatware Incorporated announced the availability of e-Picture Pro 3.0 and the e-Picture Imager for designing and publishing dynamic Web graphics. These two products, which integrate directly into Microsoft FrontPage 2000 and FrontPage 2002, provide FrontPage users with unprecedented control over Web graphics creation and dynamic imaging.

Microsoft FrontPage is a full-featured professional Web site creation and management tool. With its WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface, users have more time to create an attractive and full-featured Web site, without the need to know the nuts and bolts of HTML programming.

With the debut of e-Picture Pro 3.0 and the e-Picture Imager, FrontPage now includes an integrated graphics design tool and dynamic imaging capabilities. e-Picture Pro, the design tool, includes everything an artist would need to create interactive buttons, animations and graphics. When uploaded to FrontPage, these files become graphics templates that can be customized and reused over and over again in the e-Picture Imager add-in.

For example, most Web sites contain some kind of button or toolbar for common links within the Web site. Using e-Picture Pro, you can create a dynamic button complete with an animated rollover state. This single button file can then be loaded into FrontPage using the e-Picture Imager as a button template. From this button template, you can create all of the buttons for your toolbar, complete with custom text and links, without leaving the comfort of FrontPage. Later, if you decide you want a different look for your buttons, simply modify the template and your changes will automatically ripple through to every button while still retaining all of your customizations and links.

"Beatware has provided a strong one, two punch with e-Picture Pro 3.0 and the e-Picture Imager add-in for FrontPage," said Raj Kapoor, FrontPage Product Manager. "FrontPage users now have the advantage of being able to create professional graphics and animations in e-Picture Pro and then tailor and reuse them directly from within the familiar FrontPage design environment. This offering from Beatware will help FrontPage customers build better Web sites."

"Beatware is proud to be working closely with Microsoft to deliver both animation and dynamic imaging capabilities to FrontPage," said Marc Verstaen, CEO of Beatware, Inc. "The e-Picture Imager add-in for FrontPage makes it possible for FrontPage users to customize graphics, animations, rollovers and Flash files, and quickly and easily generate new graphics from those files all from within FrontPage. This represents a huge step forward in productivity, especially for commonly used graphics like navigation buttons and branding banners."
