LANGUAGES Internationale Opens New Department: Computer Studies

Makati City, Philippines 15 April 2003 - Languages Internationale Chairman, Atty. Nordy P. Diploma, announced today the launching of the Computer Studies Department at Languages Internationale (http://www.li-computerstudies.com). Newly appointed director, Mr. Rafael M. Pefianco, will head the new department.

Languages Internationale, the leading school for foreign languages in the Philippines, was organized in 1965 as Centro Hispanico and it was the first school to offer Spanish Language lessons to Manilas elite.

Languages Internationale pioneered the LI CONVERSATIONAL METHOD of teaching. This unique system allows for the student to quickly learn a foreign language. Instead of relying on the traditional stiff grammar-based system, the LI METHOD uses scientifically based conversational techniques to help the student quickly learn a language. The system has been so successful that after just 30 hours of instruction, many students are able to converse in their new foreign language.

Languages Internationale also introduced the English for Special Purposes (ESP) programs, group classes, and corporate workshops.

Languages Internationale now broadens its scope by offering Computer Studies to its students. Languages Internationale believes that computer skills must be mastered by all. Its thrust is to equip its students with these essential skills in a short amount of time and help them be competitive in today's digital environment.

Drawing from its vast experience with the LI Method, Languages Internationale has combined the talents of professional educators with the expertise of practioners with real world experience. LIs instructors know how to teach, they are also experts in the fields that they teach.

Languages Internationale will initially offer courses in web design, programming, image editing, web animation and also offer computer skills courses for busy executives, personal and office productivity as well as programs for kids.
