Another Killing in East New York, Brooklyn

Brooklyn, N.Y. --April 19, 2003 -- Lisa Washington killed them in East New York, where she was seen at Linden Plaza Senior Citizen's celebration of National Woman's Month, last month. Ms. Washington read a most powerful affirmation from her book, "The Book of Proverbs for Entrepreneurs."

Ms. Brown, the Mistress of Ceremonies was right to have introduced Washington as nothing short of dynamic. Washington stunned the prominent audience. In attendance were City Councilman Charles Barron, State Assembly Diane Gordon and local developer D'Costa Headley.

It's no wonder Washington's work is both inspirational and motivating, she is the cousin of the late Wayne Grice, a motivational radio personality, who at times co-hosted WLIB late nights in the Bob Law nationally syndicated broadcast radio era.

It was indeed a special treat and the senior citizens of Linden Plaza are still talking about it. Lisa's mother says, "They keep calling, wanting to know how to get their hands on the book." Her mother adds, "You can order it from anyone of us. The family sales, markets and promotes it. "
