POPULAR AUTHOR AND MENTOR OFFERS FREE WEB RESOURCE SITE AS PART OF WRITE TO PUBLISH TOUR 2003

Award-winning author, satirist, and writing mentor Christopher Klim has developed a free Internet resource tool for writers and booklovers at www.WritersNotes.com. The free tool is part of WRITE TO PUBLISH Tour 2003, his new lecture and workshop series in support of WRITE TO PUBLISH: Essentials for the Modern Fiction & Memoir Market.

The site, www.WritersNotes.com, gathers the most useful and free news, information, and tools on the web. Once exclusive to Mr. Klims writing students, the popular author of the highly praised novel, Jesus Lives in Trenton, and the manual on writing craft, Write to Publish, decided to expand registration, which currently boasts several hundred members. Registration to the site will be free.

Former space physicist turned author Christopher Klim is known for outstanding lectures on contemporary writing and publishing. He also works with writers in a one-on-one mentoring forum, and several of his students have graduated to publication and national awards.

WritersNotes is part of Mr. Klims continuing effort to help emerging writers reach their goal of publication. It contains on-line reference tools and freelance job opportunities among other things. I like the virtual thesaurus," Klim says. The criteria for site inclusion involves saliency, utility, and of course, it must be free. No pop up ads. No requests for money to get the real information."

By the end of 2003, WritersNotes will include an electronic magazine, Writers Notes Magazine, a forum for fiction, poetry, interviews, cutting-edge nonfiction, and articles on writing craft. Klim says, The staff marching order is to include stories, craft, and experience. I want alternative thinking. Its important for writers, and readers for that matter, to expand their minds. Its part of what we do." Writers Notes intends to offer on-line workshops and additional channels for writers to reach the public. At the moment, writers submit book reviews that are presented on-line.

The expanding website is part of the WRITE TO PUBLISH Tour 2003. WRITE TO PUBLISH is available through Write-to-Publish.com, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and other major book outlets. A national campaign is scheduled for summer 2003, including select bookstore and library dates. Book, tour, and author information at www.Write-to-Publish.com or www.ChristopherKlim.com.
