Real estate agent creates unique way to serve clients and prospects with web log

A Florida-based real estate agent creates the world's first real estate web log, providing various services to clients and prospects.

PINELLAS PARK, FLA. APRIL 24, 2003 /PR Web/ -- Web logs have revolutionized the Web for many users. "Blogs," as they're commonly called, now offer a variety of things, from online memorials to magazines. One Florida real estate agent, and blogger, has added real estate to the blogging mix with his real estate web log, "http://www.insiderealestatejournal.blogspot.com">Inside Real Estate Journal."

John Mudd, a RealtorŪ located in Florida's Tampa Bay area, http://www.sptimes.com/2002/09/09/Technology/Blog_bonanza.shtml">made a name for himself with http://www.muddpr.blogspot.com">a web log he created to publicize his PR clients. Since then he's become a contributing writer to http://www.blogcritics.com">Blogcritics, as well as a real estate agent. Some real estate agents seek to become a realtor to the stars, but Mudd wants to be the "Realtor to the Bloggers."

Mudd's real estate "blog" has allowed him to prospect for both bloggers and non-bloggers. His blog, a recent creation, has received 141 page views so far, including views from bloggers, Google searchers searching for real estate and visitors who have found his blog from the link on http://www.homeintampabay.com">his real estate website.

Mudd's blog has received quite a bit of interest, in part because of its Google placement and in part because its the only blog of its kind. Mudd likes it because it allows him to provide clients and prospects with more information than the average real estate website offers.

"Now everyone can be informed when they visit a real estate website, and because it makes me more accessible, everyone can get their real estate questions answered fairly quickly and easily, which is very important to the people I serve."

John Mudd is a RealtorŪ Sales Associate with Broderick & Associates Realty, Inc. in Pinellas Park, Fla., part of Floridas beautiful Tampa Bay area. He also serves as an Account Executive for United Mortgage Company. You can search for homes, land, lots and commercial property for sale, get a free market value analysis of your home, plus get free mortgage information at his website: http://www.homeintampabay.com">www.HomeInTampaBay.com. You can get up-to-date real estate information and more from his web log, http://www.insiderealestatejournal.blogspot.com">Inside Real Estate Journal. Mudd has a B.A. in mass communications, specializing in public relations, from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. He received an A.A. from St. Petersburg Junior College in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mudd is a member of the Pinellas Realtor Organization's Public Policy and Communications Committees and he is also a member of the Florida Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He serves on the Tampa Bay Crisis Center's Public Relations Committee and as a member of the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club's Membership Committee.
